Those who experience homelessness often experience a fluidity of housing arrangements, ranging from shelters and transitional housing programs, to the homes of family or friends, to sleeping on sidewalks, and through the revolving doors of emergency rooms and jails. On Dec 2nd, 2014 Occupy Venice, hosts members of the community along with panelists John Raphling (attorney), Becky Dennison (LACAN), Deb Lashever (Venice Activist), Brendan Marquez (Brilliant Corners Social Worker), Steve Clare (VCH), Shelley Gomez, (guide to spiritual self awareness and healing). Dinner is served at 6:30pm and the moderated community discussion and films start at 7pm.
